Welcome Author Sam Crescent

I'm very excited today to have multi-published author Sam Crescent as my guest at Pick a Genre Already.

Warm Welcome. Take it away, Sam...

First, I want to say a big thank you to H K for having me on her blog today.

I never know what to say on these posts and so I’m going to settle on talking about my Christmas release with Evernight Publishing. I love this time of year, in fact, I spend all year waiting for the festive season. This time of year is such a busy, stressful occasion and yet, I can’t stop myself from becoming immersed in the spirit.

Throwing myself into the shops is not what I mean. In my household, I’m the cook and that is what I spend a great deal of time doing, cooking and baking.

However, I have had a great deal of clumsy moments in the kitchen at this time of the year. I adore Turkey so much because I only eat it in December and because of this, I tend to be a complete glutton.

Two years ago, I decided that buying a 10 kilo (that was on the ticket when I got it) would be a brilliant way to feast on my favourite type of meat. So, being the person that I am, I picked it up, put the large (or extra, extra large bird) in my trolley without thinking. I buy from the supermarkets and I’ve never had any complaints. When it came to cooking the bird, that was another matter.

You see, in the supermarket you don’t think of the size of your baking tins, at least, I didn’t. Anyway, I got the turkey and placed it in my tin........erm..........it didn’t fit. The Turkey was huge, I mean, it looked small compacted with all those other turkeys but on my side, trying to get into a roasting tin. It was HUGE.

Crap!!!! What had I done? A mass panic as I had a gigantic turkey with no way to roast it, on Christmas.

Lets say, after some clever bondage treatment and a bit of nip and tucking, my turkey fit into that tin.

Okay, crisis averted, right? WRONG!!! It didn’t fit into the oven. By this time, I was red in the face and probably sweating. That turkey no longer looked appetising but bloody exhausting.

Changing shelves and doing the size test took a lot out of my arms. Did you know a 10 kilo bird could be that heavy? I never want to think about the pain in my muscles after that nightmare.

Anyway, after the mass panic and fear, my turkey was cooked and everyone loved it. We had plenty of leftovers with lots of curry the day after.

Do you have any scary Christmas disaster story? Feel free to share yours.

Bound for Christmas is nothing about disaster and all about trust. I will be giving away one copy of Bound for Christmas. Simply leave a comment for a chance to enter.

Club Kink, 1

They rarely spoke. They only touched hands. Until now.

Bernice Rowe has been fascinated by the man who regularly visits the library where she works. They never speak and only stare at each other. When she learns that her mystery man is one of the dominant men at Club Kink, she makes a choice to become a submissive.

Master Leon has been visiting the library for one reason—Bernice. He wants her desperately but knows his desires are not for everyone. When Leon finds her at the club he makes sure everyone knows she is his submissive.

He takes her away and starts her training. Leon is determined to make her his woman in time for Christmas. Neither know how the other feels, and it looks like it is going to be a Christmas to remember for both of them.

Be Warned: sex toys, spanking, BDSM, public exhibition

 Excerpt:

Her nipples were on fire. The clamps stung. She wanted to tear them off her breasts, but then she’d get even worse. Then the burning pain shot through her whole body. Her clit swelled. She rubbed her legs together feeling the pleasure shake her entire body. His touch sent off electric signals all around her. She was sensitive to the slightest touch.

“Do you feel the change?” he asked.

“I ache everywhere, Master.”

He turned her so her back was to him. “Every part of you is sensitive?”

“Yes, it is more than I can stand.”

Leon chuckled. The vibrations went straight to her cunt. She was on fire with the need to climax.

His hands moved down the sides of her body. She whimpered then cried out as his hands slapped either side of her thighs. “Did I say you could play with yourself?”

“I’m not.”

Another short sharp slap to her thigh. She cried out then moaned as her legs scissored for more contact with her clitoris.

“You’re building up your punishments here, baby. Address me properly with my title unless I tell you otherwise.”

“I’m sorry, Master.” She wanted to sob and beg him to make her come all at the same time.

“Good.” His hands moved round to the front of her thighs. She felt him move down her body until he split her legs open. The contact she’d gained with her clit was lost.

Bernice whimpered missing the contact already.

“Please,” she said.

“Please, what?” he asked.

She cried out. It was too much. How could anyone concentrate with so much sensation? Her focus failed at every opportunity. It was too much and not enough. The pain combined with the pleasure made it hard for her to focus on anything. Leon expected her to keep saying his title while she couldn’t remember her own name.

He turned her back to face him. She stared at him for several seconds before he caught her close. Leon stroked her hair as she tried to gain some composure.

“You can use your safe word at any time,” he whispered.

She closed her eyes. Was she ready to give up?

Author Bio:

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011.

She loves creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

  4. Love you "bondage" term for corralling your turkey...what a funny story!
I always have leftover turkey...seems like we eat it again and again for days! And yes...those turkeys can be HEAVY and take up the entire oven space...especially if cooking for more than 16 people!

Your cover is devilishly enticing...the woman in the chair all tied up (strategically placed ties) presents a vision readers can "see" as they read your book.

  5. First time I cooked Christmas dinner... forgot to take out the paperwrapped gizzards inside and didn't thaw the turkey through so it turned out to be half-raw and no turkey for Christmas dinner that ye3ar!

  6. Love the post, Sam! My Christmas fiasco wasn't nearly as entertaining to read about as yours, lol, but I will say I had finished a half a bottle of wine before my guests even arrived.
Loved the excerpt, the book sounds great!
    Best wishes!

  7. Hi Sam (and HK)
Try roasting a turkey in the heat of a Sydney summers day. I don't even like cooking but have to cater for carnivores, vegans and nut and egg allergic family members.
Love the excerpt Sam - hot as ever!
    Cheers
