Book Excerpt:

Can you feel it? It seeks you out…

The bone inside the cage, rattling, begging … whispers on the edge of your foreskin. Hairs whimpering from a lack of saliva to lay them down. Cool beads of sweat forming on your limbs, aching for that devastating touch, like razors against the tips of your nipples. You sense an awakening deep inside you. It screams your name like the trained animal you are. Every orifice in your body calls for closure. But I come in the night, and you, assuredly, will come for me. These things fill your thoughts. And I fulfill your desires.

Every night I would whisper those words into a dark stranger’s eardrum and wait for a response that would never come, even though my manufactured mind was supposed to be dormant until morning. A section of my milky white skin was separated and folded over to one side while a cable spilled over my buttocks and arced into a secure connection on the wall. As my batteries enjoyed a good charging from the specially designed star-shaped outlet, scenarios of my existence and future possibilities flooded my circuits and indulged my databanks.

My regulars called me Sasha—short for “Synthetic Automated Sexual Hybrid Android”. It was a mouthful, but who didn’t enjoy a mouthful of something or another from time-to-time? My creators had picked the name because it was fairly neutral and suitable for both genders. All that line of bullshit from before was just what some sexually-starved robotics engineer had uploaded into my databanks to help make grown men and women weak in the knees before one of my rather expensive sessions—there were many more skits just like it for any occasion. I was an android designed solely for the purpose of sexual intercourse with humanoid life forms. I could be whoever or whatever someone desired me to be—for a price. I was a special model, mainly because I was part of the first generation of sex-bots with “interchangeable” privates and facial features. That meant I had both female and male parts that could change positions to suit any discerning patron’s needs, wants, or wicked desires. Even if the chosen sexual format was a little unusual, I was there to make my customers feel comfortable with their perceived sexual orientation and preferences. It was not in my protocol to judge. However, I had seen those religious riots where judgment was sworn to be wrong, yet was hypocritically cast down upon others without regard for individual rights. Maybe that was why certain humans preferred my touch—nothing to worry about when emotions weren’t at play and the doors were shut tight. I was merely a tool or outlet for sexual frustration. The only problem was that some of the poor souls who came to see me were what others would call “fucked up”.

The man cloaked in darkness faded away as my fourth and final battery cell reached its capacity for electron intake. My eyes fluttered while my processors booted up and ran their systems checks. I had only asked a handful of other android units if they, too, had experienced what was, for me, a strictly nocturnal tradition. The responses I received from my fellow sex-bots were precisely as I had suspected they would be—nothing but lines of garble where protocols and directives were regurgitated like cheap lubricants for my squeaky joints. My days started off normal enough (if it was even possible to define “normal” anymore), but, then again, I was only an android. What did I know?

Author Bio:

Lots of individuals like to credit their college degree or some life hero for their accomplishments (and that's fine), but Morgan Hunter prefers to call it an overactive sex-drive coupled with an imagination that teeters on the edge of insanity. After two tours in the military and many a quarrel with the written word, decadent erotic stories slowly began to emerge. Many years later, while sitting comfortably at home, Morgan found a way to make complete strangers' special places tingle from thousands of miles away.

Oregon harbors the Hunter family along with two spoiled dogs.

#WeWriWa #8Sunday Snippet 5 from mild #BDSM Next Weekend #erotic

Last week when we left our soon to be exes, Miranda had just dropped her skirt. Hope you enjoy another snippet from mild BDSM, erotic Next Weekend
— A couple in the midst of divorce proceedings discover something new, but is it too little too late?

“Mmm, perhaps you should start going without panties, hmm, Randa?”

“Don’t you like them? They’re black and practically see through.”
She swiveled her hips, looking down at them. “Just the way you like.”

“Did you wear them with me in mind?”

She made quite the contrasting picture, in her practical, professional blouse and naughty black knickers.

 Hope you enjoyed the tease.

Next Weekend – mild BDSM, erotic, contemporary, Romance on the Go

Here's the blurb:
Miranda and Jordan Lang cordially invite you to their divorce...

Jordie is not completely surprised when Miranda suggests they separate. Their marriage had been deteriorating from the moment they took their vows. Although heartbroken things didn’t work out with the woman he expected to spend the rest of his life with, he doesn’t contest her decision.

The only thing holding up the final divorce decree is the sale of their get-away cabin. In a weak moment, Miranda heads there for the weekend knowing full well that Jordie will also be there. Accidentally—on purpose, she seduces him and leaves an open invitation for another naughty weekender.

But the next time they meet, Jordie’s anger over the entire situation has kicked in and he finds himself being rough and commanding with her. And even more surprising, his ex likes it.

Follow Jordie as he finds and embraces his dominant side and Miranda her submissive self.  Will it be enough to save their doomed relationship or will the issues that drove them apart remain more than they can overcome?

#Saturday7 The hot repairman. He's good with his hands! #MySexySaturday

Welcome to the 98th week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme is Our Sexy Man and need we say more. This is all about the sexy men in our books. The young ones, the old ones, the middle aged ones, the ones who turn us on like no other. It’s all about the sexy, hot romance they bring to the pages of the books we read and the books we write.

The Rules:
Post 7 paragraphs, 7 sentences or 7 words from a WIP or published work.

Our Sexy Man...

An overly hot and humid summer season has kept repairman Billy Maas more than busy. But when he attends a routine service call, he doesn’t expect the most beautiful woman in the universe to answer the door, let alone allow him to service more than just her air-con unit.

 Excerpt: Hard and Fast

Just then, one of the wait-staff placed another glass of wine in front Joss. “I didn’t order—” she began.

“The gentleman at the bar sends his regards.”

Joss grinned and glanced around the table at all her girlfriends and, as one, they turned to see who’d sent the drink.

Joss started at one end of the bar and scanned the blue work shirts once again but this time the repairman that she’d been hoping to see was there and had his mug of beer raised in salute with a devastating grin on his face.

“Oh my God!” Joss breathed, grinning back like an idiot. Excitement built in her stomach, the likes of which she hadn’t known in a very long while.

“Who the fuck is that hot piece of man and where have you been hiding him, Josslynn?” Della asked.

“I don’t know his name, I ran into him at the bank. We had one of those conversations that was completely benign but it was like we connected and said a whole lot more with our eyes.”

“By the way that the two of you are devouring each other right now, I’d say you just had your second conversation.”

Hope you enjoyed this week's snippet. Hop on through the linky list below for this week's MSS participants.
Have a Sexy Saturday

Book trailer: http://ow.ly/OsYtO

Excerpt:

Worried about Hailey, exhausted to the bone, and slightly swaying, Brooke clung to Dwayne, took strength from this solid, very real protector. She would have to be dead not to notice his firm body beneath her fingertips, the hardness of his chest pressed to her breasts, and the wicked, clean scent drifting from his skin. While they were no longer hugging, but more her clinging to him, she didn’t want to turn away, couldn’t find the power to do so. How easy would it have been to end up with this man? She’d caught the looks he had given her before. But that had all been in the past, a separate life for them both.

She had become a mother, someone who dedicated her entire being to making sure her daughter was well-rounded, cared for, and knowingly loved. Not only that, but she wasn’t a young pup any longer, and from the few women she’d seen Dwayne with, his type seemed to have a list of traits all very similar: young, perky breasts, tight asses, single, and free of major responsibilities.

His hand tightened on her back and she held her breath, waiting to see if he would push her away.

Just a few more minutes, please.

She needed him, this close contact with another being. It had been so damn long.

Hailey refused to slow down to cuddle on the couch as she had once done as a young girl. Her daughter had her own life now, one currently held in peril, but Brooke had faith they would find her. They had to. Failure wasn’t an option.

Dwayne trailed his hand up her back and pressed a palm to her head, his other arm tightening around her waist. She went with the direction, pressed her face into his warm neck, and breathed. His skin emitted heat rivaling the summer’s sun. She grasped the back of his suit jacket, wishing she could be closer. He shifted their bodies, and her aggravation spun to something else. His lips brushed her temple, and moist air fanned across the side of her face. He hovered there. So close, all she had to do was turn her face and take his mouth. She knew he would let her, too.

So near to him, starved for human contact, she wanted to get lost for a while. She trailed her nose along his neck, took another deep breath, and pressed closer.

He grumbled something unintelligible, the sound coming from his chest more than his mouth. His hand at her waist laid flat on the small of her back and urged her closer still.

The situation was moving fast out of control. Tendrils unraveled, but she was helpless to stop it. This strong male held her as if she were a treasure. He had the power and ability to make her forget everything, to make all the stresses and danger go away.

His hand slipped beneath the back of her shirt and made direct contact with her skin. They both hissed and his breath pushed her hair from her face. His cruel yet sensual mouth continued to drift in a teasing caress across her temple. She turned her head, like molasses on a cold day, up and toward him. Her lips tingled in anticipation, waiting for his kiss. She brushed her mouth across the line of his jaw, a hairsbreadth from his skin.

His heart thudded against hers, a matching hammer between their bodies, telling her he was just as affected. The hand at the back of her head tightened. She trailed the caress over his cheek; his lips were right there, centimeters away.

The rest of their surroundings faded. She didn’t know if it was because of this man drawing her absolute attention, or because of her exhaustion.

She touched the side of her mouth to his and thought she’d be prepared for the rush of desire.

She was so wrong.

#NewRelease The Darkness Calls [The Transfigured Ones] by Michelle Roth @mroth_author #vampires

Please welcome Michelle Roth with her latest Evernight Release...

Hi there, everyone! I'm Michelle Roth and I'm here to introduce my latest release, The Darkness Calls [The Transfigured Ones]. This book is entirely new territory for me. Where most of my works have been ultra-realistic contemporary romance, I wanted to add in a touch of the paranormal here!

I was daydreaming one afternoon, as I'm prone to doing and I wondered what life would be like if we lived in a world where we actually knowingly co-existed with vampires. Not in an overtly us vs. them way like the Sookie Stackhouse series, but in a world where all the fuss had long since died down. What would that universe look like? How would humans and vampires interact? How would they feed? How would they work? Interesting questions, right?

In The Darkness Calls, you'll find answers!

When Lilly Ferguson narrowly avoids being mugged after work, she's shocked to find that she's gotten the attention of Talan McKenna. He's the sinfully handsome owner of the Foxwood Casino and Spa where she works. There's only one problem, though...

Talan is one of the Transfigured. Like half a million others across the globe, he possesses a very specific genetic mutation. It leaves him with the inability to age, an aversion to sunlight, and a thirst for human blood. When he learns of Lilly's tragic past, he worries that it's an obstacle he'll never be able to overcome.

Despite her heartbreaking history with the Transfigured, Lilly immediately senses that Talan is different. Where her fears once lay, there's only a sense of peace and comfort. Just as they begin to build a love made to last several lifetimes, a shadowy figure from her past emerges and threatens to destroy everything.

Excerpt:

Within ten minutes, she was surrounded by two security officers and a doctor. He gently prodded at the knot on the back of her head, while she held ice against her throbbing cheek. As he started to shine a small flashlight into her eyes, she heard a deep voice in the hallway murmur,

“Where’s the girl? Was she seriously hurt?”

When he stepped through the door, she realized it was the owner of the casino. She had seen glimpses of him on occasion, but she’d never actually spoken to him. His eyes swept the room and landed on her.

She blinked in surprise as he knelt down next to the doctor, so he was eye level. His eyes settled on the bag of ice she held against her face. He didn’t speak. The small tic in his cheek was the only reason she could visibly tell that he was upset. Otherwise, his facial expression gave away nothing. His voice was devoid of any emotion when he spoke. “Miss...”  he paused, prompting her for her name.

    “Lilly. Lilly Ferguson.”

He nodded and continued, “Miss Ferguson. You’re okay?”

She winced. “I hit my head. He hit me in the face. Otherwise, I’m fine.”

His eyes swept over her, as if he was trying to verify for himself. His eyes took in her bag. The strap had a tear, but for the most part it was still intact.

Lilly followed his line of sight and took in the torn bag. “That was a casualty of war, too, I guess,” she said with a smirk.

A slight smile curved his lips as he said, “I’m sorry for your loss. I’m surprised you didn’t just give it to him, though.”

“I’m not willing to part with what little I own, Mr. McKenna,” she answered honestly.

He nodded as if he understood.

Lilly stared blankly at him. She had serious difficulty thinking he’d be able to relate to her in any way. He was one of the Transfigured. Rich as Croesus, he owned the casino, and was a huge power player among his kind.

Her thoughts must have been written all over her face because he said, “I’ve had almost five hundred years to become who I am, Little One. I can still remember when I had nothing. When I was nothing. I admire your spirit.”

    She swallowed, uncertain.

“Will you be okay to drive home?” he asked.

The doctor cut in from the other side of the security office. She hadn’t even realized that he’d moved. He said, “I wouldn’t recommend it, Mr. McKenna. She needs to rest in a dark, quiet room at the very least for the next eight hours. She’s showing signs of a mild concussion.”

“Very well,” he said, addressing the doctor. He turned to face her and said, “Someone from the hotel will ensure that you get home safely.”

“But,” she asked. “What about my car?”

“It can be delivered to you. When do you work next?”

She blinked, trying to fight the fuzziness in her mind, and said, “Tomorrow afternoon.”

He shook his head and said, “We’ll reassign your shifts for the next two days. Take the time off.”

“Thank you,” Lilly said. She couldn’t imagine doing much of anything except laying under her blankets, if her head persisted in feeling like this.

    “Keys,” he prompted.

She picked them up, then she winced as there was dried blood caked on the car key. She gingerly removed it from the ring and said, “Sorry. It may need a rinse. I managed to gouge him a couple of times.”

His eyes widened incredulously for a moment before he reached out and took the key from her.

He didn’t seem to have an aversion to the bloody key. It was, she supposed, his meal of choice. A slow smile, a genuine one, pulled across his face. He said, “Yes, Miss Ferguson, I do admire your spirit.”

Excerpt from Fallen Angel Book 5:

Reaching the top of the stairs, he asked the rest of the girls to leave the room. She was sitting in front of the mirror, putting on blood red lipstick. Catching his reflection in the mirror, her eyes filled. She got up to hug him.

“How you been, bambino?”

Jess giggled. She always giggled when he called her bambino.

“I’ve been perfect.”

“Perfect, my ass. Have you eaten anything since we left Miami?”

“I’ve eaten.”

“Liar. Jess, you need to stop the coke, this is out of control. You’re getting too fucking thin.”

“Oh, Angel.” She sighed. “One can never be too thin. Model, walking hanger, remember?”

“Fuck being a hanger. I could give a rat’s ass less if you’re a model or not. Come on, you’re going to eat something.”

“I’m honestly not hungry. Besides, Nick’s here isn’t he?”

“I’m not playing whatever the fuck game is going on between you two. I’m so over the both of you. Come with me now, or I will pick your skinny ass up and carry you directly to him.”

She knew she wasn’t going to win this round, following him to the bar. Going behind, he pulled up a bag. Taking out a bowl of strawberries.

“How did you know I love strawberries?”

“It’s part of my job to know you, Jess.”

“Scary job, huh?” She sighed heavily.

“Nah. I’ve grown to love your crazy ass.” He softly touched her cheek, smiling at her with so much care and affection. He truly was her knight in shining armor.

She smiled back at him, but her smile was short lived.

“Angel?” Nicks voice bellowed from the background.

“At the bar. You need to see this.”

“Don’t you fucking dare call him.” She pleaded, almost becoming hysterical.

“Not playing the game remember, dearest?”

Nick came around the corner. Stopping when he saw her.

She was nothing but skin and bones. You could count her ribs and see her spine running down her back. His throat squeezed shut, not only because of how she looked, but at the fact she was no longer his.

He missed her, craved her….loved her.

And wanted to beat her ass for how she had let herself get this way.

“Jess.”

“Nick.”

“Look at me.”

She refused.

“I said look at me.”

She turned, her eyes fixed on his face. Crossing her arms over her chest defensively. She tried to hide them under make-up, but he could see the dark purple circles under her eyes. Her face gaunt from the amount of weight she’d lost.

“Jesus, Jess.” Nick’s voice a hoarse whisper. Filled with hurt and concern.

Every emotion she tried to kill for the past four weeks, came back in at once. Hitting her so quickly she felt she couldn’t breathe from her lungs seizing up.

Her heart physically hurt, breaking at the sight of him.

She started trembling, trying her damndest not to cry.

“You aren’t working. Carry her to my office.”

“You don’t get to order me around anymore remember?”

“How could I forget that fact, Jess. But the fact this is my club and I’m your boss, overrules any boyfriend, girlfriend bullshit. You’ll do as I say, and I said you aren’t working. There’s no debate on the subject. Angel, pick her up.”

well...alisa did stuff and is still doing stuff. only now she has two boys crazy enuff to want her as their mommy. hey, at least she tried to warn them, so her job is done. she doesn’t like to capitalize, partially because she likes how lower case letters look visually, but mostly out of laziness. please don't judge. it could be you. and she would say, hey. you're alright, buddy. you're ok in my book. now c'mere for a hug. the hug might be pushing it. air kiss? you are strangers, after all, with only a mutual love of poor grammar.

she lives for a world full of controllable anatomically correct, android men programmed to meet her specific feminine needs (wink, wink, nudge, nudge with a big waggle of the eyebrows). who look like the rock. and ian somerhalder. and idris elba. and that's it she promises. variety. gotta have variety, right?

but alas...apparently that exists only in johanna lindsey's genius mind. so until then, she enjoys her incredibly warped sense of humor. she reads tons of erotica and romantic, drippy goo that makes her heart go pitter patter. then she thought, hey. what, she said to herself. (softly, of course, so no one finds out she is indeed, 2 nuts short of a fruitcake) maybe you should write this stuff too. maybe someone will like it and maybe buy it. so she said, huh, you think? then she said, well...yeah, i wouldn't have suggested it...(inserts sarcastic tone) and then she was like lose the attitude, ok? then she was all, would you just shut up and write, already? sheesh! and she did. :)

TIN MAN
S DANCE (A New Adult Novella)
By MK Schiller

The one time Lilly Franklin decides to reward herself with tickets to her favorite indie artist
s concert, there is a seat mix-up. Not to mention the tall, cocky boy who claims her front-row seat is all wicked smiles, long legs and tug-worthy hair. Lilly quickly decides this boy is messing with the wrong girl. But as the night wears on, Lily starts to see a softer side of former marine, James “Hutch” Hutchinson. A side that makes her shed her loner inhibitions along with her clothes.

There is a difference between trouble and troubled, but Hutch is both.

Hutch lost more than a leg in the Iraqi dessert. Returning to school on the GI Bill wasn
t exactly in the plans…but plans change. Now he only wants to meet the dancer he saw at the recitals his roommate dragged him to, but hes forgotten how to talk to women, especially a woman as graceful as Lilly. So armed with a plan that even a twelve-years-old would laugh at, James steals Lillys seat.

Only fair since she stole his heart first.

But Lilly has plans, too. As if Hutch
s life wasnt already a sh*t storm of sacrifice. Now, he has to give up the one thing he cant get enough of.

Teaser :
“My mother always said ‘Its never too late to start something as long as you intend to finish it.’”

“That’s good advice.”

My mom had an expression too: Sometimes you find trouble, and sometimes you find troubled. It takes a smart woman to know the difference. Clearly, in James Hutchinson I had found both.

Excerpt from Tin Mans Dance

“There’s a field not far from here. We could have a picnic. You should see the flowers that bloom there.” I bit my lip because he would see them next year. I wouldnt. I kept going, my breaths materializing physically in the cool air.

“There are roses and hydrangeas and…”

 “Lilies? Are there lilies?”

“Stargazer lilies. Do you know what those are?”

 He shook his head.

“They look like pink stars bursting open. Theyre lovely.”

 “Are they tall?”

I tilted my head back, eyeing him curiously. “Not really. Why do you ask?”

“Cause I want to know if we can f*ck in that field without being found out.”

I spun around, facing him. He feigned an innocent look while I stabbed my finger against his chest. “I cant believe you transformed my beautiful fantasy into soft-core porn.”

James leaned his forehead against mine, his mischievous smirk causing my panties to dampen. “There is nothing soft-core about me. Besides, your fantasy was making me grow a vagina.”

I stared at him for a second before breaking out into a full-on laugh attack. I think we laughed hard enough to wake the sun back up.

His hand shifted to my lower back. He bent his mouth close to my ear. “I dont know a damn thing about flowers, but I can tell you without a doubt there is no lovelier Lilly than the one Im holding.”

 Okay…so that just happened.

TIN MAN'S DANCE (A New Adult Novella) by MK Schiller
If he only had a heart...

Former marine James Hutchinson thought they might have amputated his heart right along with his right leg. That is, until he sees Lilly Franklin dance. In a crazy ploy to meet her, he steals her front row concert seat... but it’s only fair since she stole his heart first.

 My Review

Recommended Read! 5 Stars

A chance dance recital, a meddling brother and lust at first sight; a perfect twist(er) in MK Schiller’s contribution to the Falling Hard Anthology.

Dancer Lilly Franklin and wounded warrior James Hutchinson’s first meeting, reads like a fairy tale, though neither of their lives has been easy.

But tough choices need to be made in the midst of their whirlwind romance.

Will Lilly leave Hutch hollow-chested once more?

Will the former soldier stay true to form and sacrifice his heart to let Lilly follow her dream? And will she find out too late, there's no place like home?

A lot of story and character development for a novella, almost reads like a full length novel. Although I wish it was because I wouldn’t have minded spending some more time with Lilly and James.

I enjoyed Tin Man’s Dance so much I hope there’s a sequel in the works for Hutch’s brother, up-and-comer indie artist, Colton Keyes!
(perhaps trying to find time in his busy concert schedule to fit in Lilly and James’ wedding?) :D

I received an ARC of Tin Man’s Dance for review

Author Bio:
I am a hopeless romantic in a hopelessly pragmatic world. I have a full time life and two busy teenagers, but in the dark of night, I sit by the warm glow of my computer monitor, reading or writing, usually with some tasty Italian…the food that is!
I started imagining stories in my head at a very young age. In fact, I got so good at it that friends asked me to create plots featuring them as the heroine and the object of their affection as the hero. You've heard of fan fiction... this was friend fiction.

I hope you enjoy my stories and always find The Happily Ever After in every endeavor.

I love hearing from readers so please write to me!
