Excerpt:

I woke alone. I sat up in bed and looked around the room, finally locating Holly out on the balcony. 
 
I wrapped the discarded towel around my hips and padded to the door. I hesitated and took a moment to just watch her.

God, she was beautiful. With her face turned into the warm tropical breeze, her newly red-blonde hair blew, fluttering around her shoulders. Her short floral robe plastered against her perfect body, the bottom blowing, giving me a sneak peek of her bare backside.

I slid the door aside. The sweet floral scents of Maui flowers and orchids wafted all the way up to the balcony. I moved in behind Holly and wrapped my arms around her. I kissed her neck. She leaned back into my chest.

“Why can’t I wake up with you coiled around me, like when we go to bed?” I asked.

“I’m sorry—I didn’t mean to fall asleep so quickly last night.” She turned in my arms. She kissed me, then began to back me towards the open door. As soon as we passed the threshold she pulled the towel from my hips and let it fall.

I untied her robe and pushed it from her shoulders; it fell, giving me a view of paradise.
